Norway is one of the world’s wealthiest countries. Good for them you think, But there is a downside. Food, tobacco and alcohol have become pretty expensive for the average norwegian family, that’s why great numbers cross the border into Sweden in search for more affordable goods. We swedes quite happily welcome our bargain-hunting neighbors, with open arms and a broad smile. McDonald’s did it with a billboard that it self crossed the border and which welcomed everyone to Sweden.
