WaterAid Bangladesh – Pedal Pure

Water is a human right. Majority of the population of Bangladesh is deprived of safe drinking water. In the cities, the most affected are the one with the lowest incomes. So, we turned a livelihood into a solution. PedalPure is a pedal powered water filter that is being fitted to rickshaws in Dhaka city. With over half a litre water being purified every kilometer, imagine what 600,000 rickshaw-pullers in the city can do.
