Edson Sabajo of Patta Running Team (NL) elaborates on the aspect of leaving the inner city grid behind and seeking out the extra dimension to running in the wild.
Together with TrackMafia founder Cory Wharton-Malcolm (UK) he goes in to details regarding the benefits of seeking out what it means to run without limitations.
The film is shot in the southern part of Denmark. The project came together in a partership between Danish Athletics Federation, DGI, the city of Guldborgsund and Mercedes-Benz Denmark. This was done to bring attention to Denmark as a running destination and Denmark hosting the world championship in Cross Country running in 2019.
‘Off the Grid’ is shot and directed by talented Danish filmmaker Marcus Ricketts Lind. Marcus has previously done work for adidas, Soulland and Nike SB amongst others. The music score for the film is done by Danish artist Mont Jake, whom previously worked with Masta Killa of the Wu Tang Clan and Leland Whitty. Produced by Danish LEAD Agency.
